A better heater housing allows users to run the TEC 806 longer and harder without lapses in performance. The handle can be adjusted with a screw adjustment to change the amount of hot melt dispensed on each pull.

The TEC 806 has a 2-3 minute warm up time beating most glue guns on the market today. It boasts an illuminated on/off switch and new moulding shield so the gun isn't turned on or off by accident.

The TEC 806 is a pleasure to use and I should have upgraded to this years ago. I’m a visual artist and use glue guns for wood sculpture assembly, foam board mock-ups, and making custom storage boxes. I’ve been using cheap glue guns that had inconsistent performance and little control over how much glue would be dispersed. The TEC 806 has awesome ergonomics and the long throw trigger allows you to consistently control how much glue you need. The included base is stable and works great when needing to move quickly during assembly. I’d recommend this to anyone needing more control over their glueing applications.
